Congress of and for women in
Science and Technology

This congress is used by woman working in a technical field in the broadest sense, interdisciplinary to discuss current scientific, technical and social developments.
Naturalists, researchers, engineers, mathematicians, computer specialists, technicians, workmen etc. and students experience exchange and maintain and expand their network.
Women are expected out of Austria, Germany and Switzerland. The FiNuT - congress is getting more and more attractive for women out of Europe and the world, too.
The five main-topics are Life-worlds, Knowledge-worlds, environments , technology worlds and one world offer room for comprehensive ecological, economical and social approaches of sustainability. New perspectives and critical reflections of the sustainability discourse are part of it as well as genderoriented and feminist view angles.
Contributions will be held mainly in german, but also in english.
This year the congress program is rounded off through a public part, that includes among other things a panel discussion to the subject of climate protection and energy politics.
